Dealing With Sororities Rejections

Dealing With Sororities Rejections

"you have to keep your head high and make the best of each and every situation. "

Becoming a part of a sorority is something that can be very important for college students especially if their parents were part of a sorority. However, one thing that should be known is it can be very hard to get into a sorority and not everyone is going to be accepted. So, the questions boils down to how can you avoid become depressed after you have been rejected from a sorority?

1.       If you are rejected do not let it ruin your life: It is okay to feel sad especially if it is something that you have always wanted and if all of your friends made it. However, take the rejection as a door opening for something else.

2.       Try to get into other clubs: See what other clubs your school has. Try to get into some of them. You may find that they do lots of fun things and they may even be able to benefit you in the future more than a sorority could.

3.       Try a different sorority: Just because one sorority did not accept you it does not mean that others will not. It may not have been your first choice but if you are set on becoming a sorority member see what it takes to become a member of a different one.

Overall, college is supposed to be fun and sometimes you will not get the things you want. However, you have to keep your head high and make the best of each and every situation.
